About Jack and Diane

Surrounding yourself with people who have a gift for conveying what is in your heart and singing it to you…hearing songs that make you smile and cry and laugh at the same time… a real date night with music, great food and wine… and knowing you are among friends…

That's Music Circle South.  Songs and stories by two of the finest Performing Songwriters  in Music City, who will make you feel as though you are a guest in their living room.

Jack & Diane have performed with the best.  Jack is an accomplished songwriter who is proficient at guitar, mandolin, lap steel, dobro, and banjo. His first job with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons started him on a long career that included touring with Brian Setzer, George Thorogood, and Elvin Bishop.   Then he got the gig that changed his life...playing for Diane, who soon became his wife and musical partner.

Diane is a soulful vocalist and songwriter who was a fixture in the Atlanta music scene.  She performed, recorded, and developed her songwriting skills in Atlanta, guided by acclaimed vocal coach Jan Smith (Sugarland, Rob Thomas, Usher).  She was a regular at landmark venues such as Eddie's Attic; she also performed at the 1996 Summer Olympics, Six Flags Over Georgia and Church Street Station in Orlando, Fl,  among other high profile events.  Music City was calling, so as soon as she and Jack made the move, they became a connected part of the music community.

Jack & Diane have performed together all over the country.  From Music Row to Telluride and back, they have made their mark.  In 2002 they won the Tin Pan South/Taylor Guitars songwriting competition, and they have been frequently invited to play popular Nashville rooms like The Bluebird Cafe and The Listening Room. They enjoy playing select VIP events for The American Red Cross, The Chamber Of Commerce, among other great organizations.

Jack & Diane released their first project, Scattered Roots, in 2001.  The highly anticipated new CD, Play For Me, was released in early 2010.
